The Solar Eclipse, the British way

So after a fairly long week with consecutive sleepless nights I realised it would be a waste to miss a once in a decade opportunity to see this Solar Eclipse everyone’s been going on about. After getting myself out of bed way too early for the fifth time that week, I finished my morning routine and waited in anticipation looking out my larger-than-normal kitchen window. Exactly at 9:28, there it was in all it’s glory: the bloody cloudy sky that has been there for the last week. Clouds so thick it seemed like Zeus jumped into the Steam room. I feel bad for the poor souls who made the trip to the Main Quad for the occasion. Now I can begin to understand the feelings of the Justin Bieber fans that had to wait for 4 hours, after which he did not show up. Well – maybe not understand, but sympathise.
